In just over a month’s time, the Ukrainian national final for Junior Eurovision 2010 will take place. Fourteen songs have been selected by a jury to compete in the national final, which will take place at the international children’s centre “ARTEK” on the evening of July 31st.

Both a jury and televote will be used to select the winning entry. Timur Miroshnichenko (JESC 2009 host with Ani Lorak) will once again host the selection, along with a teenage co-host.

These are the 14 songs that will compete in the national final:

01. Roman Bendarsky (14) – “Edina kraina”
02. Duet “Uncle Slava and Anna Riche” – “So Happy”
03. Victoria Litvinchuk (12) – “Nebo tebe pochue”
04. Tetyana Markovska (11) – “Ti spivay!”
05. Alicia Kalashnikova (14) – “Sontse”
06. Li Nyugen (14) – “Na dolonyah”
07. Valentina Danilyuk (12) – “Moya pisnya”
08. Daniela Yakobchuk (11) – “Sonyachna pisnya”
09. Anna Priymak (13) – “Dubravka”
10. Yulia Gurska (15) – “Miy litak”
11. Christina Tkachuk (11) – “Shkilniy avtobus”
12. Dima Borodin (13) – “Kiber-macho”
13. Mikita Ishchenko (13) – “UFO”
14. Yuriy Kravchenko (13) – “Divniy son”

The finalists will each spend a week at the contest venue, “ARTEK” to attend vocal coaching and dance classes. They will also be helped by professionals on preperations for their stage shows. You can see pictures of all the participants on the NTU website here.
