Samanta Karavello bids to be the ninth Albanian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest. According to some Albanian magazines, Samanta and Elton Deda are favorites to win 50th Festivali i Këngës. Her song is called “Zgjomë një ëndërr tjetër” (Wake me up in another dream) which is written by Pandi Laço who wrote three entries for Albanian in Eurovision Song Contest, in 2005, 2006 and 2008.
