This year AMPTV has announced they are headed for an internal selection. Many singers already have expressed a desire to represent the nation in Baku this May.

One of the biggest names to Eurofans is Eva Rivas, who represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. During the Armenian Music Awards 2011, she said she has a desire to participate at Eurovision again, because she was not satisfied with her previous result. Secondly, we must note that not all of the interested acts are from Armenia. Sankil Jones, who is from Austria, wants to represent Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest, with his song “Fire”. Another candidate is Lucina Moon, who was born in host city Baku and later grew up in Armenia before moving to the USA. Finally, another candidate is the Dorians, whom are currently one of the most popular rock bands in Armenia. Tonight they have released their bidding entry, titled “This is our world”. You can listen to the entry below;

When the time is right, we always run away,
Or retire
Flawing water shouldn’t really be afraid
From a fire
Why we heart someone
Only just for fun
Why we always have to run

Why don’t we just live like people have to live,
Tell me people
We don’t we just try to see the light and believe

Stop the fire
Cut the wire
People of the world
No more running
No more crying
This is our world

Why we like to make
Always-same mistake
Our love is truly fake
Why don’t we just live like people have to live,
Tell me people
Why don’t we just try to see the light and believe?

Stay tuned!
