Australia: “We’ll join Eurovision again in 2015”

Broadcaster SBS in Australia has revealed their plans for the new tv-season coming in 2015. There is a special place once again for the Eurovision Song Contest. And SBS is even hinting the possibility they will actually “join the contest” again.

Are we up for another Australian interval-act in Vienna? Or will the Aussies ‘just’ broadcast en commentate the show in their own way? One thing is a fact already: Eurovision 2015 will be broadcasted by SBS again and Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang are already working on their plans for Vienna.

Here is the official text on the plans surrounding the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in the upcoming season for SBS:

“Eurovision has become one of the most popular television events in Australia. Next year is the 60th anniversary of Eurovision and with the official theme ‘Building Bridges’ already announced by host country Austria, SBS can reveal we have our Eurovision engineers Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang already working on how we can build a bridge to Vienna and join the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015.”
