With the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest just over three months away, the core organisational team of the contest gathered once again in the host city for the second round of castings, once again igniting the Eurovision spirit and flame in Baku!

One of the current projects of the team is the casting of citizens to star in a promotional video for the event, due to take place in Baku this May. After round one of the casting, which saw 388 auditionees, round two took place on 4th of February, from 12:00 to 20:00 at the Baku Business Center. The Core Team’s purpose in holding the castings is to select ordinary people for the promotional videos plus to create opportunities for everyone’s active participation. Thus far the Core Team are doing a great job of creating Eurovision fever in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.

The results of the two castings are expected to be announced around the 15th of February. Those who were successful in the castings will be contacted and invited to the video shootings in due course. You can read more about the first casting here! Additionally, to get the latest updates from Azerbaijan and the Core team’s projects, you can ‘like’ their facebook page here!
