Eurovision 2018: FYR Macedonia gets to participate after all

The Eurovision Song Contest 2018 will be made up of 43 countries after all. The EBU has confirmed that FYR Macedonia has been added to the participation list, now that their debts to the broadcasting organisation have been paid.

Estonia: Stig Rästa and Gerli Padar return to Eesti Laul

Finland: Saara Aalto selected to sing in Lisbon

Saara Aalto will sing for Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Portugal. The X-factor UK runner-up has been selected internally by broadcaster YLE. YLE will still air the UMK format to pick a song for Aalto.

Irish broadcaster RTÉ announced the participation of Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. They are looking for songs, preferably written by composers “with a proven track record of success in the music industry”.
