Hungary: Joci Pápai surprisingly wins with gypsy song “Origo”

Joci Pápai has booked a surprise victory in Hungary. In the grand final of A Dal 2017, he beat established artists such as Gigi Radics, Totova and Kállay-Saunders Band. His song “Origo” is inspired by traditional gypsy music.

Estonia: Five former Eurovision participants all through to Eesti Laul final

Hungary: Kállay- Saunders narrowly qualifies through televoting

Tonight the second A DAL semifinal takes place in Hungary. Nine more semifinalists will compete together for making it to the final show, the winner of which will represent Hungary in Kiev. However, only four out of nine will join Gigi Radics, Joci Pápai, Gina Kanizsa and Soulwave to sing at final.
