Malta: 30 artists selected for next phase of national selection

Norway: Record amount of entries for MGP 2018

Almost 1200 songs have been submitted to Melodi Grand Prix 2018, the Norwegian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. This is a record amount, since it is almost 200 more than on the previous edition.

Latvia: Supernova will allow foreign composers

Portugal: Composers to remain the focus point of Festival da Canção

The 2017 Eurovision winner Salvador Sobral will have a role to play in the Portuguese national final. RTP announced in the regulations for the 2018 edition of Festival da Canção that the composers will remain the focus point of the search for the new Portuguese entry.

Malta: Same format for January 2018 national final
