Ukraine’s Eurovision 2022 participant Kalush Orchestra does not like to talk about the war too much. They rather focus on promoting Ukranian music all throughout Europe.
After the withdrawal of Alina Pash, Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC announced that Kalush Orchestra will represent Ukraine at Eurovision this year. The group will sing ‘Stefania’ in the first semi-final on May 10th.
The group Go_A will perform the song ‘Shum’ at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. A professional jury selected the song out of three potential entries that the group had applied.
Ukraine was quick to announce Go_A as their participant for Eurovision 2021. The group has never performed in Russia or Crimea, which is a strict prerequisite for any Ukranian representative in the contest.

With YouTube superstar Jerry Heil and electronic band Tvorchi, the Ukranian national final Vidbir has two big names in its line-up. Both of them, however, might be surprised by Krut and her elegant folk song “99”. Who will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam?
Electronic band Tvorchi has qualified for the Grand Final of Vidbir in Ukraine. In a rather weak second semi, Tvorchi finished on top with maximum scores from jury and televote.
KRUT has won the first semi final of Vidbir in Ukraine. KRUT won both the jury- and televoting. The other qualifiers are Go_A and Jerry Heil, who share the second place.
Ukrainian public broadcaster UA:PBC has picked 16 national finalists together with partner STB. Starting from 8 February, the participants will compete in national selection ‘Vidbir 2020’.
Tina Karol, The Ukrainian singer who represented the country in 2006 with Show Me Your Love, has been selected to replace outgoing juror Jamala on the Vidbir panel.
