In less than two months, the construction of the foundations of the Baku Crystal Hall has been completed. The Baku Crystal Hall is highly rumoured to be the venue of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest. The completed arena is expected to accommodate around 25,000 people and open sometime in April 2012.

Alpine Bau Deutchland AG is in charge of the construction which is to be completed within an 8 month window, just in time for the upcoming contest.
