Estonia “set to return” for Eurovision 2014

The Estonian Head of Delegation; Mart Normet has revealed to ESCDaily that ERR currently “plan to return” for Eurovision 2014 due to the great success of their preselection show; Eesti Laul as well as having 4 out of their past 5 entries reach the final.

At the moment our attitude is we will attend. Since introducing the new local selection “Eesti Laul”, we have had great success at Eurovision: out of 5 entries 4 have made it to the final.


Estonia first participated in Eurovision in 1994 and have supplied 19 entries to Eurovision so far including winning in 2001 with “Everybody”. 2014 will mark their 20th entry to Eurovision and should be chosen through the popular preselection show; Eesti Laul.
