Eurovision 2015 to be held in Vienna

Vienna will be the host city for the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in 2015. The Vienna Stadthalle in the Austrian capital will be the venue on the 19th, 21th and 23rd of May for the worlds biggest annual music competition.

The cities of Innsbruck and Graz were also in the running, but Vienna was the most preferable host city for broadcaster ORF. The EBU has approved the proposed host city and venue.

Austria has the right to host the 60th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest because they won the contest in May this year with ‘Rise like a phoenix’ by Conchita Wurst.
