Eurovision 2017: EBU will visit and inspect Kiev

Today, Monday the 25th of July, a delegation of the EBU will inspect Kiev, one of the remaining three potential host cities. They will check the potential venues that Kiev intends to use for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

Tomorrow, on Tuesday the 26th of July, the EBU will also have a look in Dnipro and Odessa, the other remaining candidates. The decision on the host city will be made public on Wednesday.

Most likely, also the dates will be made official. The proposed dates thus far have been a problem for either Ukraine, due to the Day of Remembrance for the victims of the Crimean Tatar genocide on the 18th of May, or the EBU, due to the clash of the semi-finals with the Champions League and Europa League semi-finals.
