Eurovision 2017: ESC Daily covers the aftermath

It has been one week since Salvador Sobral took the crown at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, giving Portugal their very first victory in the history of the contest. In the upcoming days, ESC Daily will look at the aftermath of the 2017 contest.

We will take a look at the successes in this years contest, with the countries that got a top 10 result. Some of them have not had such a good result in recent years. But we also look at the disappointed nations, that did not do so well at the contest in Kiev.

The Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be an edition that will be much discusses as the years ago. The eliminations of Finland and Estonia in the final. The ‘certain’ victory of Italy in the months leading up to the contest, and the 6th place that followed. The big, big differences between the jury vote and the televote, with Australia being the most bizarre example… We will take a look at it all in the next two weeks.
