This year Cyprus took on a bold new selection process to unearth a new talent for Eurovision 2011 under the summer talent show called “Performance”.
The CyBc has set up this show in order to select their singer for the 2011 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The final will have a total of fifteen participants from all three categories (singing, dancing and instrumentalists) that were selected on the show by a jury (60%) and by televoting (40%).
The final will begin at 21:15 local time on Friday the 10th of September 2010, in Studio 3 of RIK and will be broadcast live from RIK ENA. Marina Maleni will host the show and the judging panel features Neoklis Neokleous, Kostas Kakogiannis, Lia Vissi (ESC 1985) and Fotis Nikolaou.

You may recognise Louis Panagiotou as in 2006, alongside Christina Christofi, he represented Cyprus in Junior Eurovision with the eighth placed “Agoria Koritsia”.
