France: Eurovision final to be broadcast in cinemas

The final of the 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev will be broadcast in cinemas across France for the first time. The broadcast will happen on the 13th of May at CGR Cinemas locations in 41 cities across the country.

Tickets for the cinema broadcasts will cost 8 Euro. People who buy the tickets will also receive a collectors postcard for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.

The French act in Kiev

28-year old Alma is representing France in Kiev with the song ‘Requiem’. As a member of the Big 5, France does not need to participate in the semi finals of this year’s Eurovision. The country will therefore compete directly in the grand final on the 13th May.
