Candy group, who won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Yerevan, has released a brand new song. The group is made up of Ira Kovalenko, Mariam Gvaladze, Iri Khechanovi, Ana Khanchalyan and Gvantsa Saneblidze, who came together and represented Georgia at last year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
The name of the song is ‘Summer day’. Gvantsa Saneblidze, the eldest member of the group told us exclusively about the song and the video;
It’s about summer time and one of the most wonderful summer days ever
Group member Ana Khanchalyan added;
I Love the song and the video clip very much. It gives joy and happiness. I’m sure everyone will like it!
The video was made in Anaklia, Georgia and on the way from Tbilisi to Anaklia. The video was produced by Bzikebi studio.
Candy group is one of the projects of Bzikebi studio. Bzikebi, winners of JESC 2008, and Miriam Kakhelishvili, who represented Georgia in 2010, are the other projects of the studio.
