Yesterday, the submission period has ended for performers to submit their entries to compete in Georgia’s national competition for Eurovision 2012. Entries were welcomed from Geogrian Public Broadcaster (GBP) from December 15th, in which time a total of thirteen were sent in.

7. Lina Asatashvili

10. Salome Simonishvili
11. Shmagi Tagiashvili
12. Group “The Georgians”
13. Group “Vanilla Cage”

Anri Jokhadze has taken part in the national selection before in 2009. Boris Bedia and Group “The Georgians” both entered to take part in 2011, although Boris dropped out of the final due to other commitments.

A professional jury appointed by Georgian Television will listen to the submitted entries, and choose an unspecified amount to take part in the televised competition next month. The winner of the national selection will be chosen by jury and televoting.
