Tonight, Hungary held it’s first semi-final of “A Dal”, the contest that is going to choose the Hungarian entry for this year’s Eurovision in Baku, Azerbaijan. Three acts were chosen by the jury voting, while the other one by the public. Compact Disco, Gábor Heincz and Caramel were selected by the jury while Gabi Tóth was chosen by the viewers votes.

Tonight, after every song performer, the “A Dal” juries Kati Wolf, Jenő Csiszár, Philip Rákay and Viktor Rakonczai rated the song from 1 to 10 points. The most successful act was Compact Disco with “Sound of our hearts” receiving 39 points, second was ranked Gábor Heincz with “Learning to Let Go” with 38 points while the third act chosen by the jury was Caramel with “Vízió” receiving 34 points. After the jury results were finally announced, the host opened the televoting where people from Hungary could choose their favorite to go to the final. After the voting was over Gabi Tóth resulted victory.
