Icelandic broadcaster RUV has just announced they have opened submissions for their national preselection in preparation for selecting the Icelandic entry for Eurovision 2013.

Interested composers and singers can send their songs to RUV until October 8th. The broadcaster will then choose the best entries which will go on to participate in the live shows, with the first semi-final taking place on January 12th and the national final scheduled for February 9th.
