Earlier today, the rules for the Serbian national final for JESC 2010 have been published. The call for songs starts today, and ends on 25th of August. The national final, which will be held in September, in Belgrade.
Besides the official JESC rules, the rules of this year’s Serbian national final are:
- the song must last between 2’30” and 2’45”
- the song has to be in one of the languages which are officially used in Serbia
- the participants must be citizens of Serbia, at least in the last 2,5 years
- the composers of the songs must be in the performance of the song as well
- applied songs cannot be withdrawn
- all the applications must follow full names of the participants/composers and lyricists, as well as their dates of birth, addresses, telephone numbers (and e-mails)
- RTS has the right to choose another song, or an another performer, in case of any problems.
A special jury will listen to all the applied songs, and will choose the ones to take part in the national final in September, in Belgrad. All the songs that don’t have all the requirements of the rules, will be disqualified. The winner of the national final will get the right to represent Serbia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010, in Minsk.
