Junior Eurovision: Azerbaijan announces finalists!

Azerbaijan broadcaster ICTIMAI has published the names of the 5 selected entrants that have qualified to the final of the national preselection for Junior Eurovision 2012. This is the first time the broadcaster talks about the Junior Eurovision preselection after confirming their participation.

The national preselection has been running for the past few days, and ICTIMAI announced they had received 31 applicants in 2012. From those a total of 12 were selected in the first stage, with only 5 finalists selected by a professional jury:

Narmin Hasanova
Qamartac Maqsudova
Omar Sultanov
Suada Alekperova
Tugrul Kerimov

There is no confirmed date and format of preselection but the Azerbaijani representative will be named in the near future during a live broadcast on ICTIMAI.
