Dutch and this year’s host broadcaster AVRO has published the list of the eight finalists of it’s national preselection for Junior Eurovision 2012:

• Mainstreet – Stop the Time (Watch Video) 13 – 14 years
• Amy – Heart is going boom boom (Watch Video) 15 years
• Alessandro – Una Chica Especial (Watch Video) 13 years
• Kim – Digidoe (Watch Video) 11 years
• Jade en Sherilyn – Joy (Watch Video)  11 – 14 years
• Melle – Dromen (Watch Video) 12 years
• Sterre Luna – Jouw ogen (Watch Video) 14 years
• Femke – Geen tijd (Watch Video) 11 years

Many of the finalists have tried to take part in the dutch selection for the contest before; Amy, Kim, Melle, Sterre Luna, Femke and Alessandro, whose song also contains segments of Spanish. Kim is the sister of Junior Songfestival 2010 finalist Donny, whilst the group “Mainstreet” have been put together especially for the contest by producers “Future Presidents”.

All eight finalists will spend the next few months preparing for the live shows of the competition. During this time, they will work with various dutch producers to create a new final version of their songs.
