Junior Eurovision: Mainstreet and Melle qualify to Junior Songfestival final!

Mainstreet and Melle have just qualified to the final of Junior Songfestival in an hour long show.

Mainstreet and Melle competed in a final of four acts, with Kim and Amy. They are the first two finalists of AVRO’s Junior Songfestival selection and they will be in the final to take place on October 6th. Next weekend, the second semi-final will take place where two other qualifiers will join Mainstreet and Melle. Mainstreet won the public vote followed by second placed Melle, the televoting results combined with the jury voting, where last year’s Dutch representatives gave 12 points to Amy.

Amy: 21 points

Mainstreet: 20 points

Melle: 20 points

Kim: 17 points

  • Public Votes:

Mainstreet: 12 points

Melle: 10 points

Kim: 9 points

Amy: 8 points

TOTAL POINTS:

Mainstreet: 32 points

Melle: 30 points

Amy: 29 points

Kim: 26 points

Amy and Kim will have another chance to get into the final, as a wildcard position will be granted to one act before the grand final.
