Armenian fans of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, together with several Dutch fans, have made one more Junior Eurovision short film. The film, titled Yerevan: Fans’ City, gave fans the opportunity to speak about their impressions from the 2011 edition of the contest, before crossing over to The Netherlands and this year’s host city Amsterdam, to give fans a view of the arena and parts of the city in the lead up to the 2012 edition of Junior Eurovision.

The same group of Armenian fans already participated in two other films in the lead-up to Junior Eurovision 2011. The first film was about host city Yerevan, with the second film being based on the fans’ expectations from the contest. The third film starts with a special video clip featuring a new remix version of Dalita’s Junior Eurovision entry for the nation in 2011, ‘Welcome to Armenia’. Then fans tell about their impressions of the contest and share their happiness that they were apart of the huge event. The film continues with a special feature from the Dutch fans and at the end of the film an appearance is made by Gohar Gasparyan, the Head of Armenian delegation at the Contest, whom hosted the final in 2011.

The film was sponsored by Public Television of Armenia and directed by Karen Khontyan.
