Junior Eurovision: Suada and Omar to represent Azerbaijan!

Suada Alakbarova and Omar Sultanov have been selected as the first Azerbaijani representatives in Junior Eurovision. A special show took place this evening where a total of five finalists battled it out performing many famous hits:

  • Narmin Hasanova
  • Qamartac Maqsudova
  • Omar Sultanov
  • Suada Alakbarova
  • Tugrul Kerimov

The national preselection was run for the past few days, and ICTIMAI announced they had received a total of 31 applicants in 2012. From those a total of 12 were selected in the first stage, with only 5 finalists selected by a professional jury for the final.

The five finalists performed two songs each and a professional jury selected Suada Alakbarova and Oma Sultanov to perform in a duet at Junior Eurovision 2012.
