Georgia has just presented their entry for Junior Eurovision 2012! The song is titled “Funky Lemonade” and it will be performed by the FUNKIDS: Kate Samkharadze, Nini Dashniani, Luka Karmazanashvili and Elene Arachashvili, who were chosen internally several months ago.
Kati Samkharadze – 13 years old. She was born in Borjomi. She is a member of ensemble ,,Little Georgians”, plus she is the winner of TV project ,,Ana-Bana”. She ranked 1st place in Choral music festival , which was held in Italy. In 2011 she became a laureate of the Gogi Dolidze Festival. In 2011 she took part in National Selection of Junior Eurovision and finished in 2nd place. She studies at studio ,,Enki-Benki”.
Nini Dashniani – 11 years old . She was born in Brussels. She studies at the # 52 public school. She is a scholarship holder of Music school # 7 . Nini took part in the Musical ,,Oliver”.
Luka Karmazanashvili – 12 years old . He is the winner of music contest ,, 2008 Stars” . He is a participant in TV Project ,, Talents”. In the animation ,,Skupi” he dubbed the main character.
Elene Arachashvili – 10 years old. She is a student at gymnasium “Shavnabada.” She studies at Bzikebistudio. Besides singing Elene also plays the piano.
Bzikebi Studio Producer Giga Kukhianidze (also producer of 2008, 2010 and 2011 Georgian entries) has been working with The FUNKIDS in the process of composing music compositions. The author of Georgian entry is Nana Tsintsadze, who has also been working with The FUNKIDS, in the process of writing the text of the music composition. Nana is a well-known author of songs, plus she is working with Georgian composers, musicians and ensembles . She is also a doctor and the author of several medicine books. She also has experience in journalism and is collaborating with several Georgian magazines and newspapers. She is often invited as a member of the jury in many contests.
