Lithuanian broadcaster LRT informed esctoday.com that their national selection will begin this October! The selection will contain various heats, which will take place between October and November 2012.

Lucky qualifiers from the heats will then perform in the semi-finals, which will start at the beginning of December. So far the date of the final is unknown, but LRT has indicated that the final is planned to be held sometime during Christmas. Additionally, the exact dates of the heats and the semi-finals are still unconfirmed. The dates will be revealed in due course.

So far it has been announced that three other countries will select their representatives just before the end of this year: Switzerland, Albania and Belarus!
