Good Evening Europe! Welcome to the second semi-final of this year’s “A Dal”. Tonight, a total of ten songs are going to perform, where three of them will be qualifying by the jury votes and one will be chosen by the viewers votes. The show will be presented by Kapocs Zsóka and Gundel Takács Gábor while the jury consists  last year’s Hungarian representative Kati Wolf together with Jenő Csiszár,  Philip Rákay and Viktor Rakonczai. Don’t hesitate to tweet us at @escdaily and let us know about your thoughts on the songs.

The hosts are now on stage, explaining tonight’s shows and introducing the semi-finalists.  The hosts are also introducing the judging panel in a video.

Monsoon - “Dance”

The first act to open tonight’s show is Monsoon with “Dance”. Even though they carry number 11, tonight they are first to perform. Their song is a good pop/funk song. The band is very entertaining and they seem to connect with the audience. In my opinion the song is not that good to qualify but let’s see …. Okay, the song receives 26 points.

Péter Puskás - “Csillagok”

The second act tonight is Péter Puskás with  ”Csillagok”. The song is a very nice pop ballad. He is wearing green pants and a black suit. I don’t really have an opinion about the song, it’s fine I guess, I don’t really understand Hungarian so … let’s see what the judges think. Okay the song receives 33 points! So far, he is first.

Sophistic - ”Yeah, OK!”

The third act is Sophistic, a three-girl band with “Yeah OK”. Their song is totally different with what we have heard tonight and last week. It is a pop/dance club song. The song is great but the vocals are horrible! There is also a DJ in the performance .. I don’t think these girls are going through! But let’s see what the jury thinks. Okay, the song receives 18 points, they are ranked third so far (last).

Juli Fábián & Zoohacker - “Like A Child”

It’s time for the fourth act tonight, it’s “Like a child” performed by Juli Fábián and Zoohacker. I guess the song is good, but for Eurovision? Not really. The song contains some baby sounds, and the background is multi-colored. The vocals are fine but again, the song is not really what Eurovision is looking for. Anyway, let’s see what our professional jury thinks. Wow, the jury gives great compliments to the band. They received 35 points, ranking first!.

Gina Kiss - “Chasing Dreams”

Okay, it’s time for the fifth act. Gina Kiss presents herself with “Chasing dreams”, pretty good title. The song starts good. The vocal is on level, I like the song … it’s different! The chorus is simply amazing.. Lyrics are in English but there is also a verse in Hungarian. I like the song. So far, this is my favourite song .. but let’s see what the jury thinks. Aww, the juries awarded Gina 7 points… she received a total of 29 points, ranking third.

Okay everyone! We are in the middle of the show now, and the temporary result looks like this:

Anti Fitness Club - ”Lesz, Ami Lesz”

A ROCK song is finally on stage! We have Anti Fitness Club on stage with their “Lesz, Ami Lesz”. The song is pretty good. I like the group in general, the vocals are very good. I’m not really going to say what I predict about the song because the results are changing a lot, but in my opinion the song is Great! Okay let’s see what jury thinks …. The song receives a total of 24 points, ranking second!

Nika - ”This Love”

The seventh act of the night is Veres Monika, known as Nika with her “This Love”. When I first heard the song I literally fell in love! I love the tune and her beautiful voice. The chorus is amazing, and for the first time I love the backing vocals! The last chorus is the best..! Let’s see what the judging panel thinks. Okay, and as I expected the jury loves the song! The song received 38 points, ranking FIRST!

Tibor  Gyurcsík  - ”Back in Place”

The eighth song of the night is called “Back in Place” and it’s performed by Tibor  Gyurcsík. The song is Pop/RnB. I like it! It’s catchy…  Tibor is wearing a black suit, and the LED Background has sunflowers. Let’s see what the jury thinks.. Alright, alright, alright!! we have a new leader… 39 points for Tibor.

Renáta Tolvai - “Élek a szemeidben”

Okay, the ninth act tonight is Renáta Tolvai with her ”Élek a szemeidben”. The song is a favourite since it was first published on Youtube. The song has pop/folk elements, the vocals are good but the backing vocals are currently ruling! Anyway, I can’t change my opinion about the song, IT’S MY FAVOURITE! I don’t know how will the jury rate this song, but this should go to the finals, yow!. Ahh, as I was expecting, the jury didn’t give the song very high scores. Tolvai received a total of 30 points, ranking 6th. I’m not happy at all

The Kiralys - “Untried”

The last song of the night it’s called “Untried” from duo The Kiralys. The song begins slowly, the girl’s voice is simply amazing! The song gets uptempo and remains like that till the end. It is a very good song. I don’t think the jury will rate it very high because of the rapping but let’s see.. And once again..I was wrong the song get’s scored pretty good, receiving a total of 35 points, ranking 4th.

Well, third and fourth place have the same points, so now the jury is choosing between The Kiralys  and Juli. And the jury chooses The Kiralys!

Now, it’s time to choose the televoting qualifier. The hosts have officially opened the televoting. The viewers can vote by SMS and telephone. There is the recap to help people choose their favourite.
