Live: Greek national final!

Tonight, the national final of Greece for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 will be held in River West mall in Athens.

Four acts will compete in tonights show that will be hosted by Maria Kozakou and Giorgos Frantzeskakis. The winner will be decided via televoting (50%) and jury vote (50%). The guests of the Greek national final are the representatives of Cyprus (Ivi Adamou), France (Anggun) and Bulgaria (Sofi Marinova).

The jury consists of Marina Lahana (ERT), Andreas Pilarinos (musician), Michalis Tsaousopoulos (Head of three Greek radio stations), Tasos Tryfonos (Head of ‘Love Radio’ 97.5 FM) and Foteini Giannoulatou (Head of international relations of ERT).

The show kicks off with an act of dancers. The hosts; Maria & Giorgos, welcomes the audience in the Greek national final! Lucas Yiorkas who represented Greece last year, is the first guest of tonights show. Loucas is talking about his unforgettable experience in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 and his upcoming release.

All of the money received from televoting will be given to charities! The representatives of Italy, Ukraine and Serbia sent their greetings to Greece via pre-recorded videos.

Song 1. Dora – Baby I’m Yours

The first entry of tonights show is entitled “Baby I’m Yours”. Dora is the first artist that takes over tha stage. Dora wears a pink dress and shes accompanied on stage with four female dancers dressed in black. The choreography and Doras dancing routines are very good!

Song 2. Cassiopeia - Killer Bee

The second entry of tonights show is the pop entry “Killer Bee”. Cassiopeias entry is composed by Christos Dantis; composer of the Greek entry in Eurovision 2005. The three female members of the group are wearing black and blue clothes. The performance of Cassiopeia is good and the choreography is very energetic.

Song 3. Velvet FireNo Parking

Velvet Fire is next on stage! “No Parking” is the only rock entry of tonights final. The two member band are dressed in red and black clothes. This is an interesting entry and different than the first two that we already heard.

Song 4. Eleftheria EleftheriouAprhodisiac

The last entry of tonights final is entitled “Aphrodisiac”. Eleftheria is accompanied on stage by four male dances dressed in black and white. Eleftheria is dressing a beautiful white/golden dress. Her dancing routines are excellent. Probably the winner of tonights show!
