The draw to determine which countries will get to take part in which of the two Semi-Finals of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest has taken place. You can watch the outcome of the Semi-Final Allocation Draw of this Monday here at ESC Daily:
Before the draw took place, the host city insignia ceremony has commenced, meaning Vienna is now officially the host city of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. The First Semi-Final will take place on May 19th, and the Second Semi-Final on May 21st. The six finalists will vote along in these semi’s as followed:
Austria, France and Spain will vote in semifinal 1. Germany, Italy and The United Kingdom will broadcast the second semifinal and cast their votes.
And here is the way the 33 countries in the Semi-Finals have been devided:
First half of the first semi-final:
Greece, FYR Macedonia, Estonia, The Netherlands, Moldova, Finland, Belgium and Armenia
Second half of the first semi-final:
Serbia, Denmark, Belarus, Romania, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary
First half of the second semi-final:
Norway, Ireland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, San Marino, Malta, Portugal and Montenegro
Second half of the second semi-final:
Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, Latvia, Poland, Iceland, Israel, Cyprus and Sweden
