Just like Jon Lilygreen, Miro, the Bulgarian singer, was present at the OGAE Greece’s meeting on March the 13th 2010 in Athens.

I did an interview with him as well and I have to say that he answered his questions kindly, upholding his great reputation as an artist and person. I would like to thank the translator Denis Halidov for his help and of course Miro for dedicating some time to us…

EscDaily.com : First of all Miro, welcome to Greece! Is it your first time here?

Miro : No it’s not, it’s my first time in Athens!

EscDaily.com : Did you enjoy the Greek National Final?

Miro : Yes, a lot! The energy between the artists was magical. Everything was great!

EscDaily.com : Are you fan of the Eurovision Song Contest?

Miro : To be honest, no I’m not. I don’t like contests in general. Music is for everyone. We have to enjoy it and not vote for the best or the worst one. That’s my opinion. Actually, now that I’m taking part in a contest representing my own country I have to fight and try to be good.

EscDaily.com : Tell us a bit about your song…

Miro : Well, it’s a song that I composed and it’s made just for the Eurovision Song Contest. I tried to do my very best and I hope people will like it.

EscDaily.com : Of all the songs that you were given was this one your favorite?

Miro : Absolutely yes, and I so wanted it to win the Bulgarian final because it’s my song!

EscDaily.com : Have you thought about any parts about your stage performance in Oslo yet?

Miro : I’m meeting the choreographer of Michael Jackson soon and we’re gonna decide what to do on stage then. I really care a lot of my stage performance. I hope it will be something good!

EscDaily.com : Are you keen on Greek music?

Miro : Yes a lot! I love Helena Paparizou and her songs!

EscDaily.com : Have you heard any other songs of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest?

Miro : Yes. I like many songs. I have listened to Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and Turkey. I really like the Greek entry. I believe “Opa” will be favorite of all.

EscDaily.com : Finally, Miro is there any message for the Eurovision fans?

Miro : Uhm, yes! To carry on loving music and vote for the good songs – like mine!! (laughing)

EscDaily.com : Miro, thank you a lot for this interview! Wish you all the best!

Miro : Thank you too Krikor!
