Norwegian broadcaster NRK has just announced that Lise Karlsnes and her entry “Sailors” will sail to the Melodi Grand Prix final after receiving the lucky wildcard.

The band has had success with their debut album “Jeans for Onassis”, which sold 130,000 copies and included hit singles “Propaganda”, “Wide Awake” and “Cellophane Eyes.” After being informed of her qualification, Karlsnes said; “Yes! I have great amount of love and inspiration of being in the semifinal in Florø – and now there is more!”
