Norway: “Melodi Grand Prix” semifinal three qualifiers!

The third and final semifinal of “Melodi Grand Prix” has just ended in Norway, and another three artists are already one step closer to representing the country at Eurovision 2012. This week’s semi-final of the competition took place in the city of Florø. A total of 8 songs were performed in the show, with the public choosing their favourites to take part in the final, which will take place on February 11th.

You can see the line up of the third semi-final below, with the qualifiers in bold;

Line Up:

2. Marthe Valle – Si
3. Petter Øien & Bobby Bare – Things Change
4. Yaseen & Julie Maria – Sammen
5. Håvard Lothe Band – The Greatest Day
6. SiLyA – Euphoria
7. The Canoes – Seemed Like a Good Idea
8. Lise Karlsnes – Sailors

The three qualifiers will join six songs from the other two semifinals which will take part in next week’s final from the Oslo Spektrum, in the capital of the country. A tenth participant will be chosen by a jury from all the non-qualified songs in the competition so far (listed below).

• The Carburetors - Don’t touch the flame
• Tommy Fredvang – Make It Better
