Poland: Eric Saade & Musiqq to perform at the Sopot Festival tonight

2011′s Eric Saade, the third placed Swedish representative, and Latvian representatives Musiqq will be performing tonight in Poland during the Sopot Festival. Being one of the most successful Swedish artists, Eric will perform his hit single “Hotter than Fire”. Whist Latvian duo Musiqq will perform “Abrakadabra”.

On the 24th of August in Sopot, Poland’s “Top of the Top” festival will take place, with the contest beginning back in 1961. After a two year hiatus, it returns this year with POLSAT broadcasting the festival, after TVP previously did so. On the first day of the festival, European artists will compete to win The Amber Nightingale.

Another singer taking part is Alban Skënderaj, who was runner up in 2011′s Albanian national final, Festivali i Këngës.

Moreover, Gerard Lenorman represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest which was held in Dublin in 1988, finishing in 10th place with his song “Chanteur de charme”

Poland will be represented by Kamil Bednarek, the young singer who started his career thanks to “Poland’s Got Talent”. His debut album was one of the best sellers in Poland and also gained a position on American’s Billboard chat.
