On August 25, 2010 all the participants of the JESC Armenian National Selection gathered in «Play City» to have fun and take part in a draw. The running order numbers were printed on a small balloon, which was located in a huge balloon. Each participating child had to touch the chosen balloon with a magic wand in order to reveal the hidden number.

The first quarter-final participants are as follows:

Meanwhile all the kids are treated like the real stars. They have everyday rehearsals, they are invited to the TV and Radio interviews, there’s a huge interest from local press and all of them have already spoken about their feelings with the printed and electronic media as well. You can hear all of the participating songs at the OGAE Armenia website. The quarterfinals will both take place on 2nd and 3rd of September, at 18:00 – 20:00 local time (15:00 – 17:00 CET).

Last weekend, participant Razmik Aghajanyan shared first place at this year’s Junior “New Wave” contest. Him and his band sang “Black or white” by Michael Jackson and “We will rock you” by Freddy Mercury at the event. Razmik also participated in Armenia’s Junior Eurovision 2009 national final, and presented the Armenian votes that year too.
