Spain: English version released, listen to “Stay With Me”!

Pastora Soler just released the English version of her Eurovision entry “Quédate Conmigo”, titled “Stay With Me”. The Spanish representative decided to record an English version after this year’s contest in Baku due to her good result and success following the contest, as she told fans in this video published on her official Facebook page;

“I have decided to record ‘Quédate Conmigo’ in English because it has had lot of success in many European countries after Eurovision. It is in the iTunes list of top songs in many countries, radios…. so, I thought it was important release an English version because many people around Europe like it and I want everyone to understand the message… It has been a very big experience for me!”

The English version of the 10th placed Spanish entry was recorded with active involvement from the composers of the song; Thomas G:son, Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson and Erik Bernholm.

Spain is one of the few countries which still sings in Eurovision in their native language since the beginning of the contest, and only few artists who have represented Spain have released an English version of their Eurovision songs. You can listen to “Stay With Me” below:
