In collaboration with Eurovision Union, we will be reviewing some of their 21st Century favourites, while over on their site, you will find their reviews of our favourites!

Below our reviews, you will find a poll where you can vote for your favourite Eurovision entry from the 21st Century.

Malta

Dennis Reviews Anita’s 21st Century Favourite

Michela – Chameleon | 14th place, 107 points (Final)

Good song, but not the best Maltese entry I must say. Even though I catch myself judging here on some rehearsals that the rest of the world has never seen. Or in this case: heard. Because my oh my, Michela made a mess of it in Tel Aviv at first, Later on, she severely improved and gave the song what it deserved, a capable execution. I still like to listen to this song, it is an instant earworm. And some of the lyrics are also good fun.

Brandon Reviews Joshua’s 21st Century Favourite

Gianluca Bezzina – Tomorrow | 8th place, 120 points (Final)

Oh dear, it’s done very well in Malta’s recent placings but I just was never a fan of this song. Love Gianluca, his whole story was captivating of him being a Doctor-turned-singer but this song just doesn’t capture me unfortunately. I know, I’m in a small minority on that front but sweet song nonetheless.
