Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS has revealed that alt-pop singer S10 will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin. She will perform a song in Dutch language, which will be presented later in the season.

S10 is the stage name of Stien den Hollander, one of the leading lights of the Dutch alt-pop scene. The 21-year-old artist shares her most personal stories through song, rap and spoken word. Because the stories are her own, it’s important that she tells them in her own language: S10 will sing in Dutch.

The last time we heard the Dutch language in an official Eurovision entry at the contest was in 2010. The entry ‘Ik ben verliefd’ by Sieneke did not make it to the final on behalf of The Netherlands at the contest in Oslo.
