Armenia 2018 – Sevak Khanagyan – Qami

Sevak Khanagyan was born on 28th July 1987 in Metsavan, Armenia. When he was young, his family moved to Russia, and from there Sevak graduated from a school in Moscow with a music degree. The singer first came onto the music scene when he took part in Glavnaya Stsena, the Russian version of The X Factor, in 2015. He was eliminated in the quarterfinals. He then went on to compete in The Voice of Russia but was again eliminated. He had more success a year later, however, as he won the seventh season of The X Factor Ukraine. He later returned to his home country to become a coach on The Voice of Armenia.

In February, it was decided that Sevak Khanagyan would represent Armenia at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest after he won Depi Evratesil. Armenia takes part in the second half of the first semi final on the 8th of May 2018.
