Australia: Bella Paige to perform ‘My Girls’ at Junior Eurovision

Early this morning, SBS has revealed that 13-year old Isabella ‘Bella Paige’ Yoseski will represent Australia on debut in Junior Eurovision.

‘My Girls’ is the name of the Australian entry, which has been co-written by Australian songstress and one of the Voice Kids coaches Delta Goodrem, alongside Grammy Award nominated Mitch Allan and producer Vince Pazzinga.

“I couldn’t believe it when I found out I was selected to represent Australia and I’m so excited to be singing my single, My Girls on a global stage in Sofia, Bulgaria,” Bella said during an interview with SBS. “My Girls is an incredible song with a powerful message to all girls. No matter what ups and downs we go through, it is important to stay strong, support each other, believe in yourself, dream big and know you can achieve your goals and dreams”.

Bella Paige, who is of Macedonian descent, rose to fame with Australian audiences whilst participating in the first season of ‘The Voice Kids’, where she made it all the way to the final under the guidance of the Madden Brothers. Bella was selected by SBS and production partner Blink TV.

SBS will be broadcasting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest live on Sunday November 22nd at 4:30am (AEDST), to be followed up with a secondary broadcast of the event at 7.30pm on November 28th.
