Australia will send Kate Miller-Heidke with “Zero Gravity”

Eurovision – Australia Decides was the first time that Australia hosted a televised selection show for Eurovision since their debut in 2015. Australia has chosen “Kate Miller-Heidke” to represent Australia in Tel Aviv with “Zero Gravity”.

“Kate Miller-Heidke” won the right to represent Australia with “Zero Gravity” with 135 points. Runners-up “Electric Fields” and “Sheppard” achieved 2nd and 3rd with “114” and “87” points respectively.

The ten artists were judged by a five-member jury panel, who made up 50% of the total score while the public comprised the other 50%.

The national final featured Australia’s Eurovision commentators since 2017; Myf Warhurst and Joel Creasey as the hosts. Dami Im, who achieved the best Australian result in the contest performed during the interval act performing “Sound of Silence” and her new single “Dreamer”.
