Australia’s Junior Eurovision Song to be revealed 8th October

Australia’s 2018 Junior Eurovision entry will be released on Monday, 8th October. Jael Wena took to Instagram to announce the date of her song release, with filming of the music video now complete.

As of yet, there is no news or hints regarding the genre of the song. Wena’s versatile and impressive vocal ability opens possibilities up for all kinds of potential styles.

The twelve-year-old from Melbourne will be following in the footsteps of Isabella Clarke, who finished in third place last year with her entry ‘Speak Up’. She scored 172 points in the contest held in Tbilisi, Georgia. Australia’s participation this year will mark their fourth appearance in the competition to date.

Junior Eurovision 2018 will be held in Minsk, Belarus on the 25th November. All the details regarding this year’s contest can be found here on ESCDaily.
