Mariam Mamadashvili from Georgia wins the 14th edition of Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She gains 239 points with her song called Mzeo. Australia comes the fifth with 202 points.

The Israeli song for the 2016 Junior Eurovision has been released. The song titled “Follow My Heart” will be performed by Shir & Tim on 20 November in Valletta.
Estonian broadcaster ERR confirms that a total of 242 songs have been submitted to Eesti Laul 2017. This year’s quantity of songs beat a record. Only 238 songs were submitted to the competition last year.

“Water of Life” has been revealed as the Russian song for Junior Eurovision 2016. The song will be performed by Sofia Fisenko along with her girl band The Water of Life Project. Sofia’s girl band was specifically formed for the annual contest.
PBS, the public broadcaster of Malta and host broadcaster of the 2016 Junior Eurovision has revealed the first images of the 2016 stage design. This means we can see how the stage looks for this year’s edition of the contest, to be held on 20 November in Valletta.
Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) has selected 12-year-old Dunja Jeličić to represent their country in Malta for the 2016 Junior Eurovison. Dunja will perform her song “U La La La” on the 20th November.
