German broadcaster NDR has withdrawn Xavier Naidoo as their Eurovision entry for 2016. Two days ago it was announced that Naidoo would represent Germany. It is the second year in a row that the German selection ends in fiasco.

Vilija Matačiūnaitė, who represented Lithuania in Eurovision Song Contest 2014, has won the 2014 Barbara Dex Award.
As usual after the Grand Final the EBU has revealed the full results of Tuesday’s and Thursday’s semi-finals.
There is a voting rehearsal going on at the moment and to tie in nicely with that here is the list of 2014 spokespersons. It is a very interesting and diverse list that will only make the final more entertaining!
