Hovi Star has won the competition “Rising Star” 2016 and has won the right to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Made Of Stars”. He beat out competition from three other artists to win the Israeli ticket to Stockholm.

The grand final of Songvakeppnin 2016 has just concluded and this year’s winner is Greta Salome with the song “Hear Them Calling”. She will now go on to represent Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm this May.
Tonight is the night that Iceland will choose their representative for Eurovision 2016 through the popular Songvakeppnin competition. Two semifinals have taken place and six acts have advanced to tonight’s final but only one can take the top prize and win the ticket to Stockholm.
