Carousel has won the final of Supernova 2019 today in Latvia and will therefore also represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv. Makus Riva was the runner-up.
Monika Marija has reached the final of Eurovizijos Atranka in Lithuania with her song ‘Light On’. Next week in the second semi final, the former winner of The Voice has the chance to also qualify with another song, called ‘Criminal’.
Markus Riva, who for the sixth time attempts to represent Latvia in Eurovision, has qualified for the final of Supernova 2019 today in Riga. His pop song, “You make me so crazy”, was one of the better performances of the second semi-final.
Tonight, the first semi final of Supernova 2019 took place in Riga. Eight artists competed for four places in the final, which will be held February 16th. One of the qualifiers is Edgars Kreilis, an upcoming star in Latvia.
Edgaras Lubys qualified for the final of Eurovizijos and will have a shot at the ticket to Tel Aviv to represent Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019.
