Tonight (Saturday 23rd February), Ukraine will be selecting their entry via their national final. The act that replaced Tayanna, Maruv, is in the grand final of Vidbir, as are the fan favourites, Kazka. Who will win the Ukrainian ticket to go to Tel Aviv?
Freedom Jazz has topped the table to win the second semi final of Vidbir in Ukraine, whilst Anna Maria and Kazka have qualified behind them in 2nd and 3rd with My Road and Apart respectively.
It was to be for Friðrik Ómar in Songvakeppnin tonight. His song Hvað ef ég get ekki elskað? proved enough to see him through to the Songvakeppnin Grand final a week today. Also through to the final is Tara Hobee with her song Betri án þín.

Maruv, along with former entrants Brunettes shoot Blondes and Yuko are through to the Grand final of Vidbir 2019 in Ukraine. Maruv is the replacement for Tayanna who withdrew for personal and unknown reasons.

Sergey Lazarev has been selected by Channel One to once again represent Russia. The broadcaster confirmed that Lazarev will have an official presentation, that will air on the 9th of February.
The acts in the Moldovan national final have been selected after a mammoth audition process. TRM held the audition process to narrow down the number of acts that submitted songs to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.
