Benjamin Ingrosso qualifies for the final of Melodifestivalen

Benjamin Ingrosso has qualified for the final of Melodifestivalen in Sweden. Former Eurovision star Kikki Danielsson failed to move on from tonight’s show.

Sweden started with their success formula Melodifestivalen and the first semi final starred seven acts, with only two tickets to the final and two tickets for the repechage round Andra Chansen. Benjamin Ingrosso took a direct ticket to the final with his song “Dance you off”.

John Lundvik joins Benjamin in the final in Stockholm with his song “My Turn”.

This is Ingrosso’s second time taking the stage at Melodifestivalen, having finished in fifth place last year with the song “Good Lovin'”. Meanwhile, Lundvik is singing in the final on his first time competing in Melfest.

Trying their luck again in March in Andra Chansen are Sigrid Bernsen and Renaida. You can read back our review of the show and songs here in our liveblog.
