Because we don’t expect a lot of changes for the Big-5 and Portugal, the allocation draw for the finalists may be an more important moment today, than these rehearsals in the morning. This expects our chief editor Steef van Gorkum, who talked in our morning podcast show Daily Coffee.
“Of course we do want to see some kind of changes,” Steef van Gorkum looks ahead to Day Eight in Lisbon. “The visuals of France, do they have some kind of way showing the message of their song. A small change to the end of the German act, with the psychedelic effects. But those are minor changes. More and more countries come at least well prepared to not have to make many changes between the first and second rehearsal.”
ESCDaily will be at the scene for both the second round of rehearsals and the Blue Carpet Ceremony (blue because of the theme ‘All Aboard’ of the contest this year) and provide updates in our liveblog.
