Bosnia & Herzegovina will premier its entry for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest at 20:10 CET on 19th February during a special ceremony which will take place in Sarajevo’s City Hall, according to the broadcaster BHRT.
Dalal Midhat Talakić, Fuad Backović-Deen and Ana Rucner have been internally chosen to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina in Stockholm. Deen has already represented his country in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest in Istanbul achieving 9th place with In The Disco. Ana Rucner is a well-known cellist.
Bosnia & Herzegovina are competing in the Eurovision Song Song for the first time since 2012, when Maya Sar represented the country with ‘Korake ti znam’ in Baku. Bosnia & Herzegovina will compete in the First Semi-Final on the 10th of May 2016.
